“Fire” is debatable. Sonically he’s not up there with any of the actual great producers.

Even when he was young and hungry it took other people around him to make his beats better. All that shyt on CD was better when he got on Rocafella. Listen to his original cd before he got on. It was average at best. Then he got signed and was able to use people around him and he got more access to people/resources. Some of his best shyt was samples other people found for him. Dude is an average beat maker at best but he was in the right place at the right time.

Kanye is more than a “beat maker”, he’s a legitimate producer who has.. well had an actual vision with his work and producing the final product. Very few “beat makers” can do that. It’s one thing to make a beat, it’s another to craft a song. Kanye was a genius at that, even if he did get “help” (however much that was).

This new shyt is terrible and his brain is fried. Guarantee he can still make some heat if he wants but he doesn’t have that vision anymore to craft quality records.
