Dude's best years; and arguably they are some of the best years an artist ever had; are behind him.
He doesn't have "it" anymore. And "it" isn't necessarily creativity. He's still more creative than anyone in the game right now. The music just isn't good. That's why he has to make music in a stadium instead Wyoming or Bassline where he made hit after hit before. It's theatrics because the music just isn't up to the caliber of stuff he put out 10 years ago.
My opinion, along with getting divorced from Kim, he needs to divorce his team. Too many "yes" men in his camp. Back when he put out classics, he had people in his camp telling him he couldn't do it, or it wasn't his time, think about the song Last Call. Virtually everyone around him wanted him to just make beats and play the back. Now he has everyone in his circle telling him the opposite. Ye is at his best when he is the underdog. Not everyone placating him and telling him he's a genius.
