My vote is MDTF I'm rockin with the album that changed what we knew a Hip Hop Album could be in terms of transitions between songs, theme, and the use of a album as a all around audio landscape.
Also the most legitimately critically acclaimed album of these youngins generation.

It's the album that made you actually take Kanye West seriously as a Genius with a straight face.

i noticed peoiple on here missed MBDTF's point. the album is filled with biblical/horror imagery in the lyrics/adlibs/vibe thruout. i think its a modern masterpiece

with that said, supreme clientele might be the best pure hip hop album all times. and influenced so many with its release, udnerground and mainstream alike

I need to type out my opinion on MBDTF so I can just copy and paste whenever the topic of it's "greatness" comes up. I've said numerous times, that I think it will go down as one of, if not THE most overrated album in Hip-Hop history. There's nothign "classic" about it. It's overproduced, nonsensical fluff.

In addition to that, the sound quality is absolutely horrific. I don't know how anyone can actually get through the whole album with how bad it sounds. The fact that there are ppl that really think this is one of the "best albums ever" makes me wanna throw up.

I'm not as big on Supreme Clientele as others are. I mean, I like it...a lot...but still prefer Ironman to it, and it doesn't approach the top of my GOAT album contender list. That said, it's an insult to the history and culture of Hip-Hop to put MBDTF in the same sentence as SC when talking quality. Anyone that votes for MBDTF should have their ears checked, and if everything comes back ok, re-evaluate their standards in music.
