I'm :dead: at "Kanye is more innovative than Ghost" when Kanye is on record saying he was heavily influenced by Ghost....I'm :dead: again at "Kanye is a better song writer" when he doesn't even write most of his raps.

I'm gonna assume this is some new age trolling I'm too old to understand and just keep it moving though.

The results of this poll have given me faith that the booth is still a hip hop sub forum

:banderas:

I always used Supreme Clientele and Aquemini as examples of why Kanye's creativity and innovation are extremely overrated..Dude swiped bits and pieces from projects like these and presented it to n1ggas from England and other green ass rap fans that didn't know any better...

It's the album that made you actually take Kanye West seriously as a Genius with a straight face.

but at the same time one could argue it was also the album where he started to go off the hinges. the moment he started sayin "fukk it i could do whatever i want on a record and no one could tell me shyt". which has been both good and bad for his career. on one hand it's made his music more daring and ambitious but on the other hand there are times when he's gone completely out of control.

was there really anything "genius" about the last 3 minutes of runaway?

To answer your question, no there wasn't.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is massively overrated it had some epic songs and was a huge release I do think album is good so I don't get mad if people call it classic it is. Ye's verse on Gorgeous was great. It's supposed influence is overstated and the critical acclaim is undeserved.

Ye got washed so many times. Emasculated by Rick Ross on Devil In A New Dress, washed by Jay-Z on So Appalled, washed by Nicki Minaj on Monster, washed by Pusha T on Runaway. Album is overproduced and poorly mixed, everything after Runaway is trash outside of Blame Game, literally the album falls off after track 9.

Dark Fantasy is corny and Hell of a Life is cringe worthy. I cringe when people say it's the best Ye album.

This shyt ain't seeing Ghost man, this album inspired Ye, arguably the best album of the 2000's.
