I hear him talk about “what are we here for”…but truth be told he’s the BIGGEST perpertraitor in terms of pushing CORPORATE branding and logos on people. From Louis Vuitton, Polo, to all the Parisan fashion house he raps about wearing ALL the time. Stuff most ppl can’t EVER afford.
There’s no line or distinction between that and what he’s talking about with corp branding of what Beyonce (Pepsi), Hov (many ventures), and JT (many ventures)…if ANYTHING, it shows Kanye LACK of business acumen. Because at least Hov/Bey/JT are being compensated for their art/performance. This fool Kanye bigs up these brands and he don’t get a cut! They ain’t sponsoring no tours! They ain’t even giving him free merch, trust I know the real.
Him an Hov bumped heads on the WTT tour because Kanye wanted to do all this extra effects, etc. Jay told him that would come out of HIS portion of the profits. I understand making it more than just a show or experience but at the end of the day, Jay’s content hasn’t been altered by his affliation with brands and that’s admirable. He, nor Bey or JT has conformed their music.

Kanye owed Live Nation like 10mil bc of the Glow In The Dark tour…it’s like his music, its GREAT…i won’t knock that.
