I think its pretty clear to see what the fukk Kanye is trying to say :comeon:

-He wants to be a black billionaire thru product and design (DONDA)

-Racism and discrimination prevents that

Is it that hard for you house negro's to see that? :stopitslime:
exactly... dumb ass nikkas like Charlemagne tlm bout we just wanna hear some College Dropout again.

nikka THIS DEEPER THAN MUSIC. Kanye is literally tryna open the door for all of us. i dont wanna sound like a Kanye dikkrider but hes challenging the system right now. i respect the cause.

False. Because Kanye did do fashion. Yeezy's? The Louie V shoes? And people were clamoring for those. Did he get a second chance? Nope. They put a ceiling over him and said thats all he can do. Now look at his analogy of drake making so far gone and then birdman saying "well, that was cool but for your next product we're not so sure when it will drop"... Theres nothing weird about that? Put you in that situation and you're not mad? Ad the fact that he can actually influence people to think, act, and dress differently, and you get what we're getting now. Him ranting about the stuff that he has experienced and doesnt like.

Thats what yeezy doesnt understand... the rap game is like the crack game... the high fashion industry isn't cut from the same clothe. Its not about do whatever is hot for the current season regardless of the impact on the brand down the road. Dude did a cross promotional effort with them for a freaking sneaker, it sold, they gave him his money, they moved on to other things, kanye is sitting around like why dont we do it again. He is exactly right, in hip hop you find a formula that works you milk it until the fans are sick of it. Drake has a hit record singing on the hook, you gonna see as many attempts as possible to recreate the same song slightly modified until folks are absolutely sick of it... Why you think the hip hop career is like 10 years max, and usually like 5... T Pain cant buy a hit, Akon cant buy a hit, 50 cant buy a hit, Ja Rule cant buy a hit, Nelly cant buy a hit... and they RAN the industry less than a decade ago... in high fashion you come with a different idea, and then next season you supposed to come with something else, the Louis Vuitton don't want to be blazing hot for 5 years and then no one is interested in 10 years they been doing this since 1854, 160 years they getting long term money... not focused on destroying the brand to be hot for the 5 years kanye is interested in being a fashion designer before moving on...

just finished listening to this interview...

:salute: to charlamange for getting in kanye's azz about his obsession with money, materialism, being contradictory and talking about sh1t the large majority of black people cannot relate to. all that givenchy, prada, lv, balenciaga, wang and designer name dropping kilt wearing talk. that ain't college dropout, late registration, graduation or even 808s steez. not what's real in the street. the realest thing ye said in the whole interview was when he said the same people that promote ignorant and violent rap also run or invest in the prison system. but then yeezy turns around and does a remix to chief keef. :snoop:

homeboy said he is walt disney... :wtf: ...and kim is marilyn monroe :aicmon:

he's really taking narcissism to the next level. i don't know who's polluting his mind with this bullsh1t, but they're right when they said he don't have no real dudes around him. must be why common not on good anymore...:mjpls: dude is really gone. and i doubt he's coming back at this point.

i mean dude said he's the tupac of prada...

The change needed for that has to come from the top. The type of power kanye is talking about is what can make real differences. Not him doing a benefit concert or having a after school program in Chicago.

At the end of the day Kanye is doing this for himself sure the fact that he acknowledges the fact that he's black and hinders his opportunities. I know if kanye does come through his product will be way out of a nikkaz price range. Say he does have his fashion line I guarantee he will have all cac models to model his clothes and no nikkaz on site.

Has anyone ever asked the question of why Kanye doesn't feel the same way about music as he does about fashion? Dude is a Def Jam employee, he's not ranting and raving about nikkas not owning any record distribution companies.

Great point. Its cuz he's already "hot" in music so he doesn't care about ownership or slaves or who isn't getting treated fair. He got his so fukk everybody else...

Could you imagine if there was a 36 year old rapper frustrated and whining about how the music business isn't giving him a fair shot. Nobody would want to hear ANY of that bullshyt.

But for some reason folks have sympathy for Kanye. Go sign up for a business class at the local community college so next time those Euro-homos won't swindle you out of 13 million... :camby:

Going to a radio station to cry about you wanting to get in the fashion game isn't going to do anything or solve anything

Both made good points, but I gotta cosign C tha God. Ok Ye, you make it to the top of the fashion world, than what? You just another person at the top selling expensive shyt to people who really can afford it. How the fukk is that helping anything move forward?

His rants about these corporations and Jews and blah is stupid because ultimately he is trying to be the same type of person he has a problem with.

It's amazing how Karl Kani a nikka who no one ever heard of could start a clothing line and make 100's of millions yet a nikka with the fame of Kanye can't do it.

That I can understand, that is a legitimate concern, the hip hop community is always on some I did that already now I want to move on to something else. These dudes live and breathe fashion maybe they just want to see how serious ye is about fashion, maybe they want someone who is trying to do fashion only and not 100 other things. But at the same time who says you cant be good at music and fashion, he did start wearing skinny jeans and dressing like a hipster cac before nikkas knew what hipster cacs dressed like

If Kanye ain't doing shyt for his ppl while he has 100 million what makes nikkas think he'll do something if he gets a billion? I think Charlamagne doesn't realize or came to the realization today that Kanye has no interest in being a black leader. Dude wants the cacs to accept him and his white wife in the fashion world and that's it.
