Has anyone ever asked the question of why Kanye doesn't feel the same way about music as he does about fashion? Dude is a Def Jam employee, he's not ranting and raving about nikkas not owning any record distribution companies.
cacs in power loving him-"im bigger than hiphop im more than a rapper

"-Kanye
cacs in power rejecting him-"bu bu but they look at me like im just another nikka and a rapper yall, yall don't see this bullshyt

"
I feel what you're saying but answer me this. Can you name THREE other celebrities that have spoken on the issues that kanye has? You know issues that specifically affect blacks? I haven't heard any! That's my point in this. fukk the fashion part. What I'm applauding is that he's using his position to speak on controversial issues. Like the practices of corporations. Private prisons. And more... If you can't respect that aspect of it I really don't know what else to say
IMO what he said is bigger than him wanting to get into the fashion industry. That's just an avenue he wants to use to get where he wants to go (wherever that is). Just like rapping was that steppingstone. I may sound like captain save-a-kanye but I just feel people are following the medias perception on things while ignoring the message being presented.
of his stature today not many,
but remember when Michael Jackson turned black revolutionary once cacs had feets on his neck

....this situation is eerie in the similarities as he compares himself to Michael constantly.
Michael wanted to help black people and did, dont mean they rants aint see through and don't appear very phony to a lot of people. Kanye bringing up the prison system I was engaged and thought he was going to go in,but he quickly went back to talking about the injustices in fashion

...it appears about as sincere as when homos bring up the civil rights movement, slavery and discrimination and compare it to homophobia to gain sympathy for they own cause
him bringing it up to further his own agenda don't impress me. his intentions may be very real and I give him props if they are. But right now it appears very suspect and not very well thought out,and you could see the frustration when he was challenged to make it all make sense. The fact he's willing to come to the fukkin Breakfast Club of all the ignorant platforms, and they have him flusterd with their points says he didn't think this all the way through

this whole "new slave" idea might be a more reactionary moment than it is a revolutionary moment for Kanye. but hey sometimes that's how it starts
