Bruh u still not answering my question tho. I understand all of this, you are only looking at this from kanyes point of view.

Why should these cooperations just let him in like that?? What has he done to earn it??
It doesn't matter why, he's already in. they wanted him to design shyt and he did. Now he wants to design more and they gonna tell him

"Nah, you good. :whoa:"

Yeezy's were highly successful... why not let him do more?

No nikka because it will not be as big as using someone else's name, size, money, and financial backing... All while Kanye gets to keep his own money

fukk outta here. That nikka ain't the creative genii he thinks he is if he had to piggy back off somebody else's name and brand. Walt Disney didn't have 2 and Steve jobs didn't have 2

Y'all crazy if you think Charlemagne in ANY WAY sonned Kanye. I'm no Kanye apologist. He uses ghostwriters, is hypocritical, contradictory, and has an inflated sense of self importance, but when it came to THIS interview Kanye completely turned the tables on Char and Envy, he actually made several excellent points, backed them up well, didn't speak like a middle aged white woman and DIDNT allow Charlemagne to engage him in any fukkery. If anything he made Charlemagne look juvenile in comparison and certainly made Envy look short sighted.

well why did Kanye spazz on Sway then :stopitslime:

You so content at missing the point and looking at the negative because you don't like Kanye, thats cool. Nothing changes the facts and I'm not trying to convince you otherwise

He's not in. Nike let him design a shoe and Lv let him design a shoe. He wasn't the first rapper to design shoes, he's not in the high fashion world, he's tryna get in. That's what his whole issue is

And why u keep dodging the question. What has kanye done to warrant any kind of partnership with these high end billion dollar companies??!

I also think they missing the point with him trying to do things within these big corporations instead of forming his own, smaller, mom/pop type brands.

Thats why he's not trying to go the Roca Wear or the Sean John route.. this nikka trying to take over a portion of those privately owned fashion companies, not just be a part of fashion. It's not about money as much as it is about kicking down LV, Nike, etc doors and letting him in.

Rocawear and Sean John were HUGE successes but mainly to the black community. He's trying to be a black man with huge successes within anyone's community. He wants a wealthy white woman to look at a piece of clothing from a brand he sponsored and pay $5000 for it instead of it being vice versa for us... They're the ones making bread and thats why we're slaves to Brands

Check out the Cam'ron interview on the breakfast club, he said Jay was making less than 10% on the sales on the Rocawear line. I'm sure the same was for Sean John too. White fashion companies owned those brands we didn't even know it. They put their name on it but they don't own it. How else was Macy's willing to sell that stuff in their stores? The game is a lot deeper than we realize.

I love kanye. I've purchased his music and loved the yeezys.

You are the one missing my point. What has kanye done to gain any kind of partnership with these billion dollar companies??

:russ: Lebron wasn't on a higher level coming into the league. He was just good...

And again, read my post above that explains why Kanye gets a pass over other designers

I see what you're saying, but that's just unrealistic. Let's say Obama wants to design some fashion. Will it sell? Likely, if only because it has Obama's name attached to it. Does that mean he actually has a good design? That's up for debate.

When I think of someone trying to become a fashion designer, I'm thinking strictly of their design capabilities.

Yeezy's didn't sell because Kanye made them, they sold because they were a hot shoe. Kanye's name got them noticed andI collect shoes too. Them shyts were a hot design, not because it was Kanye's shoe...

Rick Ross had a shoe too, so did G-unit and Jayz I think... them shyts went no where
