No. 1 morning radio show in the country, aren't they? If so, I would say alot of people support them.
There easily the most popular Hip Hop and rnb radio show.......

But I think Elvis Duran's morning show on Z100 is more popular/gets higher ratings, its a pop station that caters to cacs... so you already know.

:snoop: this nikka sway and them breakfast club nikkas dont get it

if kanye tries to "do it with his own money" the highest he'll be able to go is Jordan/Nike status

this nikka said he wanted to be Apple and broke down for these nikkas how nike isn't anywhere close to the level he's talkin about and they still dont get it :why:

they dont get difference between tryna be nikka-rich and only helpin the people around you as opposed to tryna be wealthy and helpin possibly a whole generation of people

i feel like im crazy as shyt for understanding where kanye is coming from

Nah man, what I think people don't get is the sense of entitlement. At the end of the day Steve Jobs and Wozniak started Apple in a garage. Kanye has already experienced the pinnacle of success in his field and appears like he thinks that entitles him to a certain head start in a different industry. As it turns out, those with the $ and power in those industries are simply saying "we don't believe you, you need more people."

We can relate to the frustration, but playing it out publicly is a little embarrassing at times.

I don't understand why Charlamagne doesn't understand that money = power. It's not about materialism. Kanye made a great point when he said they can all be fired tomorrow or when he mentioned that if DJ Envy wanted to hire his daughter to work at the radio station, he couldn't. Kanye has gained a voice by being a great artist, he also made a ton of money from it. But not enough money to control the music industry yet. He also designed products for Nike that sold out in seconds, he wants real money from it that comes from royalties. With that money, comes power - for example: the power control release dates and even pricing on products that he designed. He knows what he has, which is the ability to create products that generate money. So he wants to be able to be put in the position to create products to generate enough money to be able to change the dynamics of different industries. It's pretty simple, Kanye just doesn't put these thoughts into words very well.

He's frustrated at the fashion industry because he's not really asking for a head start in the fashion industry, he's been trying to do this for 10 years. In other interviews, he said he even interned at Fendi for 4 months. And he sees the impact that the products that he designed for Louis Vuitton, Nike, A.P.C. has made, they've all sold out in minutes. If I'm making hot products, I for sure would feel entitled to something in that industry.

He's also a bit desperate tho, because these are all points best made over a negotiating table. Clearly big business is not convinced. Every day several people experience this frustration of essentially not getting the job, for whatever reason. Just Kanye has this platform, so the vent session you or I might have with our family and friends, Kanye is having on the radio with strangers, fans, etc..
