Nah man, what I think people don't get is the sense of entitlement. At the end of the day Steve Jobs and Wozniak started Apple in a garage. Kanye has already experienced the pinnacle of success in his field and appears like he thinks that entitles him to a certain head start in a different industry. As it turns out, those with the $ and power in those industries are simply saying "we don't believe you, you need more people."

We can relate to the frustration, but playing it out publicly is a little embarrassing at times.

if he took others advice and started his own shyt it could be dope, but wouldn't get that same level of respect those other brands get. so him wanting some kind of cosign makes sense too

He's also a bit desperate tho, because these are all points best made over a negotiating table. Clearly big business is not convinced. Every day several people experience this frustration of essentially not getting the job, for whatever reason. Just Kanye has this platform, so the vent session you or I might have with our family and friends, Kanye is having on the radio with strangers, fans, etc..

He has a voice to vent and he's using it. It might sound desperate right now, but people are paying attention. Now everyone knows that he has a new deal with Adidas and people are watching. shyt, it can all be a fukking marketing plan.

For dudes who work, just think about the work place dynamic. I can remember back as an unpaid intern I worked on something that I know for a fact was stalled before I got on it, and ended up bringing in 15k for the company in one shot (a small company, was a lot to me at the time). I was an unpaid intern. That was frustrating as fukk! I was young, left that company and didn't really cultivate relationships, and now I can't even rely on them for a letter of recommendation. That's immaturity and learning. Now picture a celebrity, who's already used to getting his ass kissed daily going thru the basic day in day out fukkery of working life. He's not emotionally prepared for shyt EVERY working person who's worth their weight in salt will experience multiple times in a career. That's why he is on some rich nikka problems shyt and it's hard to relate to him. He's leveraging his celebrity to get special treatment. Smart move, if I could I would too, but I can't so it's whatever. I don't feel too sorry for dude.

I'm a college graduate working a day job while I'm trying to get a career in my field, I don't give a shyt that Kanye West is having a problem releasing another $1200 shoe

yea I get him too, i think it was Chris Rock that said, shaq is rich but the nikka that pay shaq is wealthy, ye is trying to be the nikka that pays shaq.. most black people dodnt know or dont believe that type of status can be reached or just dont know how to get there, so ye being the first person they can relate to really try to do it, is to them.

This is about a nikka who realized he hit that ceiling in his proffesion and has gotten as far as folks in power will let him . Basically tellin us shyt the rest of us in the real world already knew but he apparently was shocked by because he thought these cacs loved em...now he back to this ''us" talk like all those types do when reality sets in.
