Money is power and our culture has no power. What hurt our culture was not sticking together and believing in each other.

Money is power but so is the spoken word of Kanye or a Jay Z. People do lineup for whatever he does so why can't he DIY? He wants to start off as a conglomerate when he could start of small and expand rapidly.

When will this interview be released?

I know they talked about kanye
I'm sure it will be released soon. It was probably done intentionally right after the Kanye interview. First you show Kanye crying about them not letting nikkas in fashion then you have an interview with Daymond John a guy who got a 50/50 split with Samsung to distribute Fubu and went on to sell over $600 million worth of clothes and he bought Coogi and other white owned brands.

Does it really matter if Kanye West wants to become a billionaire for himself and his family? At the end of the day he's standing up to a racist system and speaking up. We gon turn our back on him or look down upon him cuz of that? If he wins, it's a win for all black people.

And to the people saying he'll make clothes black people can't afford anyways, he explicitly said he doesn't have control on things like pricing and release date of his collaborations and wants his OWN fashion line to be affordable. I mean unless you think he's a straight up liar, he's been pretty clear on not supporting expensive hype items and their negative effects in the hood.
:camby:FOH with that shyt. KD told nike he wanted his shoes priced at $100, and Nike made it happen. You mean to tell me YE had no input on his shoe? Nike probably showed him the numbers on how much he would make at each price point, and he either approved or agreed with what they deemed was a reasonable price to sell his stuff. Why didn't he protest them prices before it came out?:rudy:

And Kanye wanting to be with the elite white people is going to help us?

Black people have enough spending power to invest in our own shyt and start our own industry without help from white corporations. Yet we want so bad to fit in and be accepted by white people, we bytch and moan when they don't give a fukk about us.

Then why isn't it happening?
