Without listening to the 34 minutes of the video, I'll risk taking the comment "Racism is a dated concept" out of context.
But that particular quote is true.

Race, and racism (and by extension bigotry, since that's what people mean by racism 99% of the time) is a dated concept.

But it's not dated or antiquated in practice.
Thinking that by not talking about it, or just because Kanye married a white woman....that's not confronting or solving the problems that minorities face.

Yeah. I understand what you mean.

People will take this quote and infer he is saying racism does not exist anymore... which is preposterous. Songs like New Slaves and statements like "George Bush doesn't care about black people" will somehow be forgotten, and the new consensus will be that Kanye West thinks racism is no more or some equally foolish take away.

Thats how these things go.
