Dear Major Hip Hop Fans,

Stop worrying about the opinions of others and "buzz", and just listen to music you enjoy listening to. Also, stop worrying about sales from artists you aren't seeing any money from.

Dear Blacks:

Stop calling it Hip Hop. Please... It's driving me crazy lol

Nah man, I honestly think it's his best album. I never was the biggest Ye fan as I feel he's too flawed of an mc. But this album camouflages those flaws and makes it work as a whole. Plus I like how he went all the way left with it and made it work.

im the same way, I havent felt most of his albums since college dropout just a few songs here and there
and yeezus was the ultimate collage of fukkery and progressiveness to me. shyt is wayyyyyyyy ahead of its time and the braggadocio shyt on it, is like icing on the futuristic cake

I'm not gonna let these throwback throwaway tracks fool me. I fully expect an evolution of the Yeezus sound. Maybe he will go retro but I don't expect to hear an album full of No More Parties In LA and Real Friends. It will still be dope sonically. Production and arrangement wise: Kanye never ever ever fell off. All his albums have stellar production and mixing involved. Looking forward to what new tricks he used on this. Yeezus lyrically was sub par but the way is produced, mixed and arranged? Haven't heard an album like it...

Dear critics of major hip hop fans,

We the fans want hip hop to be at the forefront of music. In order to do this, casuals must be involved, no matter how "uncool" they may seem to those purists. We don't want sales and/or buzz to dwindle because this leads to artists going off the deep end creatively. I don't mean that in a good way. We the fans, want major projects to remain major projects to push the envelope of the genre. I mean that in a good way.

"Also, stop worrying about sales from artists you aren't seeing any money from." I think you are misunderstanding my point. I don't care how much money he is making. I want good music to be heard by the masses. If albums leak piece by piece, it's bad for the artist as well as the genre.

Respectfully,
THE MACHINE
Fuk up

I think this could be a great album if the content is along the lines of Real Friends on top of speaking on the current social climate, this can be an amazing album of the production is soulful with a few stadium type songs on it (i.e.. Devil in a New Dress, So Appalled.).

nah yeezus had some terrible fukking lines on it. He was rapping better on all of his other projects except 808's obviously. :yeshrug:
