Pretty much. Hence why this shyt is somewhat speaking to me. It's like a glimpse of madness through music. Sure, its on the rough tip on some parts of the album, but like mental illness...that's the breaks:manny:. Ye basically inviting folks into his personal world with this album, it's up to the listener to wipe their shoes on the welcome mat.
Majority of rapper have mentall illness rather clinical or drug abuse. You dont get points for that, judge the music as is

4/7 songs are good. This is better than Pablo but not as good as his older classics. I need to listen to this a couple more times to have a final verdict on it but it isn't trash that's for sure. Still fukk the guy
See I only kept 4-5 from Pablo. Unless I’m sleeping, I kept no more parties in LA, real friends, 30 hours, saint Pablo, and famous. I deleted the rest.

Right now there are 2-3 that I think aren’t terrible but I don’t like any of them as much as any of the 5 I just named.

:yeshrug:

His production is on point though. I feel good about the Nas album. He catered to Pusha’s sound so I’m excited to hear the 7 Nas songs.

Yeezus shyts on Pablo. It’s not even close. Pablo isn’t really comparable to any of his previous albums tbh.
Damn maybe I need to listen again. All I liked from yeezus was blood on the leaves and bound 2

And fwiw I think dropout, registration, graduation, and fantasy are all classics.

Both are easily better than this.
Yeezus is easily his worst to me, and TLOP has its moments, but is all over the place with highs and lows. We’ll agree to disagree. We may simply have different tastes. I think Late Registration is his best album followed by College Dropout.

Had to cleanse my palates and throw on some Scarface after that. Album damn near put me to sleep and I got tired of the incomprehensible mumblings towards the end.

This shyt sucks. 3/10 and the 3 is for the 2 tracks that bang. The rest of it is trash.

its definitely trendy/cool to hate

I Thought About Killing You 6/10
Yikes 7/10
All Mine 10/10
Wouldn't Leave 10/10
No Mistakes 9/10
Ghost Town 9/10
Violent Crimes 10/10
Ghost Town > Anything on Pablo. I Thought About Killing You would've been an 8/10 if he didn't talk for so long in the intro. On a second listen it's a solid project.

Japan, but from the 989
I don't mean to complain but it just feels short to me. If your album is 7 tracks long I'm expecting 7 flawless tracks....It felt like we got "Yikes", an introduction, and 5 fillers. But this is just my first listen. I'll go back and listen again.
