Kanye literally had people hating on every one of his albums when they got released:

College Dropout...his “wack lyrics and punchlines.” He should’ve just made a feature album like Dre did for The Chronic

Late Registration...people complaining that it wasn’t as good as College Dropout (the irony)

Graduation...“too short” and people hated that he spent so much time trying to perfect “Stronger.” Put the wrong “Homecoming” on the album. Too much synth.

808s....”what is this singing shyt?” Where’s “Good Ass Job?”

MBDTF...”Power is a wack first single” and too many guest appearances on this album.

Yeezus...”Only good songs are Blood on the Leaves and Bound 2”

TLOP...all over the place, rushed.

Ye...too short, worst album of all time. fukk that c00n.

This post is really over exaggerating the criticism. The overall masses loved CD, LR, MBTDF, and graduation. Yea there was criticism but overall they were all enjoyed. 808 was a wild card.

Tflop, trashus and this album are a different story

Right! Literally only a small minority brought up small nitpicks with the trinity (CD, Lr, grad) every release was an event and Ye consistently stepped his game up.

That’s why for those particular albums, it was more about nitpicking critiques. Still happened though.

My ears are fine ...along with high end audio equipment...

So ...

Explain to me exactly what's wrong with it
The vocals are way too high on mutiple tracks and the drums don't knock at normal listening levels because of it. This is most notable on Ghost Town (execept for the big 2nd half snare) and Yikes

I don't care about your high end audio equipment. Money doesn't buy good taste. I am confident that Kanye used high end equipment when making it

Critics also tripped over themselves sucking off Yeezus, which was awful. I remember either Pitchfork or one of those white publications calling it a timeless example of Pop Art:gucci:

i mean, you can find people nitpicking about anything deemed a universal classic...even Thriller gets negative comments...some people are just contrarian, and some just ain't feelin it...

Kanye's had a pretty illustrious career, but his latest shyt's just been weak...i like Yeezus, but i can see why others wouldn't...this and Pablo are just wack...
