Nottz as a rapper is way underrated. Even as a live performer his breath control is no joke. I didn't know Nottz wrote anything for him though. That's wild.

I'm a big fan of Kanye's post MBDTF stuff (though he will never get a dime from me, bootleg only).

TLOP is a 9/10 to me even though its a fukking mess. Classic songs all over that album.

Yeezus is a 8.5/10 to me. A few misses and some shyt lyrics, but still a daring and challenging album with big high points

So with that being said to put my opinion in context, I find YE to be......solid, I guess. Definitely not great. And I completely understand anyone who call it trash even though I don't agree.

I'm glad he stayed experimental instead of going backwards like many people want. But in this case the final product falls a bit flat in spots

fukk what anyone says, that first track is FIRE

After that, its up and down. If an album is sub 25 minutes it has to be brilliant from start to finish.

I am not even going to attempt to rate it yet because of the type of album it is. Songs like this need to marinate to either see if the "earworm" catches you or if it turns into a weedplate

This could be anywhere from a 6 to an 8 for me when its all said and done.

EDIT: 2nd listen and the earworms are already starting to dig... ....thought All Mine was weak on first listen but like it a lot on 2nd listen...this is definitely going to be an 8/10 I think

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy was the height of Kanye's career creatively.




The drive is gone. Which is okay, but the legacy doesn't have to suffer because of it.

That being said, this album isn't for me. 2nd listen

We did and it is still trash, decent production with 0 substance and horrible lyrics. Easily his worst work up to date.

I don't know but I was listening to J Dilla playlists on Spotify and in all of his rapping features he had the exact same style as old Kanye. Inflections and everything. I might be mixing him up with another Dilla collaborator but it's one of them nikkas lol

A lot of yall hated Pablo....I found it more than adequate. Yeezus is hands down his worst record; fukk outta here

This album won't get a fair shake because people won't be able to separate their feelings for the person vs the artist, thats fine i guess.

this is how I feel. I'm not paying for the album, so I got no problem listening for free. I like the album tho. of course not nearly as good as pusha, but it's cool.
