Ghost Town is one of the worst songs I’ve ever heard, personally. Every single sound was awful. Kanye, Kim, Cudi, North & Chicago would all be killed STAT for the greater good.

Yeezus is definitely better than ye. I actually think ye is his worst album tbh. Either way, he has fallen off musically and it’s sad to watch.

7.1 is still a bit high, I would say that it’s at most a 6/10.
Different tastes. I think Yeezus is his worst, but it is what it is.

Same way some people think Yikes and All Mine are the best songs on this album, when they’re my least favorite two tracks.

On a side note:

Am I the only person who is struggling to understand this sudden hype for the 070 Shake person?

Everywhere I go, people are like "Yo, 070 Shake murdered the end of Ghost Town", "This is like Nicki's verse on Monster, she's got next" etc.

I don't fukkin' get it.

After hearing Bobby Brown-jawed Cudi slur through his shyt she comes on and I'm tryna hear what everyone else is hearing but I can't.
she.he is hot booboodoo*

Kanye's music used to make up for his rants/crazy... When he dropped that Lift Yourself and Ye vs The People in the midst of all the ridiculous shyt he was saying I knew the music wasn't going to move people.

Low key, if the original album was sounding like Ye vs The People then it might be a good thing that he switched it up cause that might have been worse than Ye.

I listened to it last Friday. It's an ok listen, but nothing where I'd tell people to repeat listen over and over again. Lyrics don't amaze me.

Problem with the album is that it seems incomplete and just meshes throwaway concepts from the other albums. Other thing is that I thought Kanye would ditch all the co-producers and just leave Mike Dean and maybe Noah to mix and master the whole album.

Either way, here's my track-to-track analysis:

I thought about killing you: it was ok. Intro was just too long. Had a MBDTF/Yeezus vibe without the crazy distortions.

Yikes: Hope Drake didn't write this one. Has a TLOP vibe to it (a bit of FML/Feedback-ish vibe). The Juvenile flow is kinda funny though. Decent track.

All Mine: I thought Yachty was on this hook..... the song's decent tho.

Wouldn't Leave: Good track. Love the soulful vibe to it. Wish there was more of this. Probably my 2nd favorite track.

No Mistakes: Great sample and should have been a longer song. That's the difference between being my 2nd favorite track and my 3rd.

Ghost Town: Beat reminds me of We Are Young a bit. Has some MBTDF vibes too. Would have been a great song if Kanye wasn't on it sadly.

Violent Crimes: Probably one of my favorite songs on the album. Love 070 Shake's presence on this song. Sounds like a stripped down version of Young Forever.

So maybe 2 or 3 good songs. Again, it should have just been a more complete project to me in my opinion. Like if there's a known follow-up to this, it would be interesting. Otherwise it's forgettable.

I respect your opinion.

None of the songs on here really stuck out to me like that, and that's kinda a first for me when it comes to Kanye's body of work. I didn't like TLOP like that neither, but at least there are songs on there I go back to every now and then. I can't see myself doing the same for ye.
