Yes. He spends obscene amounts of money and is in a manic/erratic mental state. If this was reserved to just the typical things rich entertainers purchase - cars, houses, etc - he'd be fine. The problem is that Kanye is spending millions of dollars purchasing things like...a factory, staff for multiple projects, endless research and development, equipment and wares, etc. This may have been sustainable with Adidas writing massive checks to him but without them, I see no economic path forward for him. Adidas is a multi billion dollar corporation. They don't own a factory, they own multiple. And can mass produce. Kanye isn't in that position but I'm convinced he thinks he can. The problem is...he has no financing now. Banks are rejecting him. So what's he going to do? Finance everything himself. And go bankrupt.
