Kanye's "All Day" is a straight DUD.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I don't think the song is a dud but he shouldn't have reworked the album. He's changed the album 3 times. :snoop:

Yikes. I believe it.

What we have now is an extremities of Mr. Ye's personality.

How do we go from a somber, dedication song with Rihanna and Paul Mccart...

... to one of the most hood/ratchet anthems on contemporary radio?

There's no finesse to his sound... there's no heart, no passion ---- no soul.

Trust me, i love Ye as much as the next man. I still keep at least 100 Kan-Man produced tracks in the ipod at ALL times, and i also understand that he is constantly progressing and attempting to transcend not just his own sound, but MUSIC all together. That's why i admire, commend and reverse his character and musicianship so much.

He was very close to his mom, and i think she was the one that kept him grounded and driven to excellence (one can only assume, but coincidentally, that's when his music was like listening to angel harps being played by actual deities of heaven).

Can only imagine what it's like to lose your mother or watch her die (word to Donda and Fannie Ann --- As I just found out last Friday my mom was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer).

Maybe he's just not right anymore... but i pray everyday for every reason possible.

But i always have faith in Ye... and given how hard he's been working on it, i expect a magnum opus.

I hope we ready.

I really think Kendrick put the battery in his back. From what I remember the album was turned in. Then right after kenny album dropped ye started working on it again.

I think it's a good thing. The same thing happened when Jay electronica dropped exhibit c and ye started going ham in the studio because his ego kicked into over drive.

Same thing happened with drake and soon after Kanye was working on watch the throne.

He works best when under pressure.

I don't know about the song being a "dud," considering its still one of the best songs consistently played on the radio as of right now (with competition from Chief Keef, Fetty Wop, Young Thug, and Omarion/Chris Brown :scust:)
But I hear the song played on the radio multiple times a day.
I hear it blasting out of people's cars and phones.
It gets played at the club and gets almost as much love as "Trap Queen."
I wouldn't say its a dud, so much as it is underwhelming :manny:
It actually sounds a lot better censored, which is wild :mjlol:

Ye goes artsy and electronic for his last album... dudes complain and say it's wack. Ye makes a "turn up" track specifically for the clubs and... dudes still call it a dud.

Guess he should just make soul sample laced albums until he retires :stopitslime:.

Song is wack. White people love it though because they get to scream nikka in unison
