Kanyes T.L.O.P. release fiasco is why you can't fault people who pirate music.

Breh I've been waiting for Madvillainy 2 for like 10 years

y'all modern rap fans are some entitled bytches

Don't get me started on Doom disrespecting his fans. He dont even show up to his shows. He's on a whole other level but he's never said album is done and will be out on this day.

I dont like streaming music. even when free. streaming music drains my phone battery plus it can get interrupted depending on where you're at.
I have Google music. I download all the albums I like than listen off line so it won't drain my data. What kind of phone you hot big dog? The battery shouldn't be an issue if you have a Samsung 5s and up, IPhone 6 and up or Nexus 6P.
not hating on you. I'm trying to having a real convo breh

The stupid extreme reaction to all this is completely laughable. Straight first world problem shyt. Am I annoyed? Yes. Will I live for a day or two delay? Yes. I'm not creating thousands of memes or sending death threats to Kanyes Twitter. The premise of this thread is stupid anyway. A nikka will steal music whether it's a surprise drop or it's delayed a month

I got iphone 6s. I have google music as well, but for some reason, it kinda acts janky on the phone.

Kanye created his rabid fanbase. He has to deal with them. They treat him like God and he forsaked them.

Believe it or not everyone doesn't steal music. Certain things that push normal people over the edge. Artist behaviors, push backs, deluxe and store exclusive releases, etc. This thread actually came about because Kanye stans were on twitter saying they weren't buying it anymore cause of the bullshyt.

SINY!!
Pushbacks happen all the time, thats nothing new. Other artists don't attempt to make them into "life changing" events, and then drop the ball. I doubt its the pushback itself.....its really about all the extra curricular BS. He should have just kept it quiet, played some (not all) of the new tracks at the show......then set a reasonable date. Thats how it should have been hyped. Kanye out here shooting free throws like DeAndre Jordan.

The album drops when it drops. Whether he drops it today, tomorrow, a few months down the line makes no difference to me. There is plenty of good music to listen to/catch up on.......

The silver-lining here, is that he has now written the "how not to" manual when it comes to dropping a release. Any artist regardless of genre, should heed the situation as a lesson on not how to go about business.

Besides, from what others have stated, the album is nothing special anyways. The Taylor Swift line is an example of how he has possibly regressed a an artist. What he really should be rapping about is current events, fatherhood, how he's changed from College Dropout till this point in time....but he would rather babble on about BS and his wifes sex tape.

I agree with you mostly. That's why all that respect the artist shyt is for suckers. That's why I don't buy music unless its more convenient. Music is easy to do, anyone can do it.

Scapegoating chance the industry plant is hurting him too. People don't expect finger pointing from Kanye about his lack of releasing music. Even if him and chance wanted to switch or add something he could've worded it that way.

"We're adding another song for you guys and that's the hold up.Thanks." >>> "It's chance the industry plants fault you don't have my album of my music. Don't blame me." *tweets he's a boss 5 minutes later*

That's insulting and disrespectful to his fanbase and that's why they're turning on him.

Kanye is the first artist to push back an album and he's only pushed it back by 1 day thus far :mjlol:.

And he's expanded it from 9 songs to 17, and for that reason pirating is now acceptable. What the fukk are you dudes talking about :mindblown:. If he wasn't happy with the product and felt rushed, I'm happy that he pushed it back instead of releasing something that could've been better. It's not the UN that's late with a drug delivery, it's fukking entertainment and there's plenty of other things to listen to until it's released.
