People keep mentioning he kicked the car but the major transgression is that the clown was barking at and running up on her mother. She wasn't wrong to confront him, but she let her emotions get the better of her and tried to best a man in mortal kombat that had 200 pounds on her. She's in San Antonio. No reason for her not to be strapped with a piece or at least carrying some FOX Labs Pepper Spray. Everyone should be holding, but all women especially should be carrying some sort of protection. Folks can say what they want, but y'all know as well as I do that if that man kicked your mom's vehicle and ran up on her, you'd be ready to take a life. We could argue that what he did was excessive, but the bottom line is that she threw the first punch. From the man's POV, he's neutralizing someone that's an active physical threat. Adrenaline's running high (he wasn't exactly calm to begin with) and he doesn't know what her intentions are. Maybe she's carrying a knife/gun and he doesn't want to risk it. Chivalry goes out of the window if you're being physically assaulted and need to defend yourself.

see the thing is, no one is owed or deserves anything in this life. Just because a man doesn't have to do something dont mean that he wont. there are 7+ billion people in the world. I pretty much agree with most of what you said but I do think most people deserve a certain amount of respect or common courtesy. To me part of being a real man is knowing when to exercise restraint (it doesn't have to be in a physical fight either) & when not to. And I most definitely agree with you that a lot men just don't have that & people can't expect them to have it
