I’m not marginalizing him by saying Magic freaking Johnson was better. I just think people need to really look at his career.

Kareem was far from a sidekick. Him and Magic were 1a and 1b.

We're discussing who was the greatest Ball player of all time, not the greatest Laker....Kareem is arguably the GOAT in more deserving ways than MJ if people made a non bias case for it... that was the initial conversation... not sure why you're bringing up who was the greatest laker of all time

young nikkas, Kareem was still the first option on the lakers until after the 86 season in which the man was 39 years old and handed the reigns to magic
yep Cap was avg 33-15 (or something) in the finals until he sprained in his ankle in game 5 and still made the winning plays down the stretch for them to get that 3-2 lead and buck finished the series in game 6.
