exactly.

This.

Then damn video budget would’ve been for food for the whole hood + whatever cars they rented. This ain’t rocket science. only dummies like Nas X (the male Lizzie) has the record company spending $$$ to make shock value videos for songs no one is checking

Hope Bobby saved whatever $ he got coming out of the joint. His career is finished.

The video shows how out of touch he is.

The song was weak.

But the problem is also the business. The music business is filled with mad people now, who don’t know how to work records. They're taking money from artists and labels to do work, based on their social media following or name recognition. And that's the issue. There used to be people in the business that knew how to make records pop, even if they were wack. What we have today, are a lot of people who are robbing these labels and rappers, by promising them things they know they can't deliver on. But labels and artists are desperate, so they'll throw half a budget at someone, if the person seems to be connected. These people don’t know the business though, so you end up losing your bread and starting from scratch after flopping and betting on the wrong people.

Strange who our gatekeepers are and where they come from.

From what I understand about this Civil bytch is she got her start in entertainment by making fan pages for artists, then got an internship at Hot 97 while attending community college. She gained some notoriety for making a Lil Wayne fan page for he was in jail.

Then somehow she finessed her way into being a “consultant,” but really a gatekeeper and power broker in the entertainment industry.

And more-so, she somehow managed to get a spot as Hillary Clinton’s urban outreach advisor during her ill-fated awful 2016 presidential campaign where she underperformed with Black voters, possibly contributing in her own small way to Trump becoming President with her “hot sauce in my bag” messaging. Makes you wonder why the fukk is this nobody who is barely 30 with no political resume advising a presidential candidate.

There’s people like this in every industry where you just look at them like “Who the fukk are you and how did you get here?”

People who aren’t really qualified or skilled at anything other than being a charismatic psychopath that can woo the right people over.

So are we mad at her for coming up in the world or stealing money?

Man you don’t need no one to break your record, the streets do that if your shyt slaps. Bobby Scmurder was a dude that made a song to get some clout in his hood and that lil dance made him viral, but also was used against him and his peoples in court.

She said she started working with Nipsey during the $100 mix tape that blew him up with a crazy concept. Not saying she created that but she played a large roll in Nipsey life career outside of big u and the white dude from Queens
