I can get with hunting for food or overpopulation of certain animals; Deer, hogs, rabbits, and such. But killing a rare species, like a brown/grizzly, just to hang it on your wall or display is pretty ignorant.

Alligator Gar are probably going down in number here in Texas with this bow hunting. They look for the biggest gar, 5 ft or longer, and shoot it with a bow. It takes it 20 years plus to get that size. And half the time these hicks call it a trash fish.
