Malone has a point, Pippen led the 94 Bulls to the 2nd round where it took the Knicks 7 games to eliminate them. The Knicks went on to lose to the Rockets in 7 games in the finals

:scusthov: at him puttin the Big O over Kobe :childplease:

Walt Frazier
Kobe
Lebron
Duncan
Kareem

Would shyt on any other 5

So are you gonna ignore Pip leading a championship caliber team to a barely .500 record the following year before MJ returned?

:whoa: the Top 5 Centers of all time is pretty universal- Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Shaq, and Hakeem. the order however is where the debate happens

we should consult the post gawd @Malta on this

Moses Malone belongs in that conversation; and seeing as he's REALLY a center, Tim Duncan does as well.

My top 5 would consist of

PG:Zeke
SG:Miller or Allen
SF:Pippen or Bird
PF: Garnett
C: Wilt or Kareem

I believe this team would beat anybody's team listed. All my players play good to great team defense. The combination of inside-outside Game between my center and shooting guard would be epic, with Garnett hitting the 10-15 footer.

Jordan's greatness is overrated. He's supposed to be the best all-around player, yet, his all-around stats aren't better than most greats and future greats. The only statistic he leads in is scoring, but that's because he shot considerably more than most other greats.

Michael Jordan is easily the most exciting and influential player of all-time, but he's far from being the greatest player and definitely not the best all-around player.

I initially dapped you for this because while Mike earned his GOAT status, his myth does have people overrating him...

LOL@LeBron being better than Larry Legend.

...But I took it back after this. :aicmon:

I'd build my team on the idea that not everyone is going to be dominating the ball every possession. What else can you do great even if you're not the go-to-guy.

PG: Magic - physically no one can match up to him as a PG
G: Jordan - he'll be the go to guy
SF: Bird - can do a lot of great things even without the ball. Deadly shooter.
PF: KG - Defense. He won't be counted on to carry the offense but he does everything else great.
C: Shaq - Most dominating player in history. No one can match up with Shaq in his prime on offense or defense.

Shaq

Anything less than 75-7 regular season, 16-0 postseason is a failure.

I'd replace Shaq with Kareem. You'd get a more consistent defender and you wouldn't have to worry about teams trying to put him on the FT line late in games.
