Wasn't he supposed to hit the weights? Get in shape. Don't follow dude but that's what I remember reading around the 'net.

Saw the Harper match as it was being praised by a lot of people and Hero was looking better. It seemed they had stuff planned for him too, but that was taped how many weeks ago? Something could've happened since that caused his release.

Until we learn the reason of him getting 'deavored, I blame him for the most part. If Claudio, who can't cut a decent promo to save his life (because English is like his 5th language) was brought up, then there was nothing stopping Hero to make the leap...except hitting them weights.

RF Shoot, KC Youshoot and HighSpots Shoot coming to your home Feb-March 2014 :blessed:

PS: I prefer to see him get a regular job in Japan than in US indys btw. He's done everything there.

They usually release a bunch of people at one time. Since he was the only one let go this week. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked for his release.

Doesn't seem like it.

SURPRISING WWE NXT RELEASE
by Mike Johnson @ 12:07 AM on 11/9/2013

WWE released NXT star Kassius Ohno, aka Chris Hero, who has worked in main event level positions for Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling NOAH, CHIKARA, IWA Mid-South and CZW, among other promotions all over the world, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
According to multiple sources, Ohno was released by WWE officials while waiting to begin training Friday morning at the Performance Center. He had just returned to WWE NXT after being held off of TV for some time. What will turn out to be his final appearance, a loss to The Wyatt Family's Luke Harper, aired this past Wednesday on NXT. He had been signed to WWE developmental in 2012.

Still don't understand how he and Cesaro became close friends considering their complete opposite attitudes to training. He's pretty tight with Punk and Bryan too isn't he? With that amount of pull I'm suprised he didn't get a break.

Never thought much of him but he's more enjoyable to watch than 75% of the current roster so it's a shame to lose him.

Punk has no pull at all.

He has never got any of his friends hired, and everyone that is remotely friends with him actually gets fired (Cabanna, Luke Gallows, Serena).
