This is sad. Hero was my favorite indy guy of the late 2000s, and when he got released I was hoping he would end up in TNA. Now he's out there looking like the illegitimate son of Gigolo Jimmy Del Ray 
I hope he can get this under control, because that type of weight gain in such a short time span has to take a serious toll on your health. I'm not a psychologist by any stretch of the imagination, but I wouldn't be surprised if part of this stemmed from depression after being released.

...actually, the similarities between the two are actually kind of uncanny now that I think about it.
Both are pretty good workers with less-than-great physiques who cut their teeth in the indies then didn't quite make it in the WWF/E. Only difference is that Hero has real charisma and mic skills, so it's a worse waste of talent.

Have to say, he's still not as big as he was back in IWA - rasslin' in Ian Rotten's basement days.
I'm going to reserve judgement until I see what shape he's in for BOLA. And anyway, he can still wrestle the pants off your cosmetically pleasing faves. I'd snuggle that muffin top still.
