a funny thing happened in those two years. KAT got a lot better defensively. He's average. Some days he's good. Others he's not, and when he wasn't paired with the Frenchman, they didn't roll over and die defensively. The only negative is that Brunson's ass on defense which will allow more players in the paint, so Bridges and OG have more heavy lifting.

his biggest issue now is that he's a foul machine (half of that is on offense). He'll barrel into people, get the foul, wonder why he's being picked on and for the next 90 seconds he's not focused. Refs have it out for him. That might change now that he's in NY.

I think Naz Reid masked alot of holes that the Wolves had on defense whenever Gobert sat on the bench. Whenever Gobert was benched, Naz Reid would come in and play alongside KAT and the Wolves would still have a respectable interior defense

I'm interested to see how KAT can anchor the Knicks' defense without Gobert or Naz Reid

I think theyll be straight in the regular season. Sixers already said Embiid will be load managed even moreso this year so i dont expect us to have a crazy record. Bucks not gonna do shyt either.

KAT is going to have games in the playoffs where he puts himself in foul trouble just with offensive fouls...their front court is light. Mitch dealing with injuries. OG got injury history...

Its gonna come down to health more than anything.
