Been a Kate fan since my teenage years and as a songwriter she is amazing, her voice can sometimes struggle to keep up with the songwriting quality but her voice is unique in it's own right.Maxwell technically sung a better version but this song is so drenched in the emotional workings of a woman, she performs it better on that part, not execution as a whole. She is still an amazing singer though. One of my favourite songs is Blow Away(for Bill). The song is so well put together, the chord changes and lyrics just capture a vibe, also how the song bleeds into the next with the glass effect(first time i heard this album was on shrooms) just blew me away, i kept going back to this song.Bjork's first three albums are personal faves. There was period when music ,especially in Europe was really progressive and it felt like the music was running to catch the future.Artists like Goldie,Bjork,Tricky,Vikter Duplaix and others made me feel like we were on the brink of something new.Even to this day if i hear Timeless,Aerial(Kate Bush) or even Debut and Post by Bjork it still sounds so amazingly good, from the mixing/mastering to the sequencing and soundscape/production.Cats like Nelle Hooper,Mark Bell,Tricky,3D,Daddy G,Mushroom are cats that pushed the envelope in the mid to late 90's and early 2k's
