i feel like the wording of that is probabaly off

manic depression is one of the hardest things to treat and for patterns to continue treatment. it’s very common for people with manic depression aka bipolar to stop taking their meds and or refuse treatment all together. it has one of the highest suicide rates within the mental health field or whatever because of the impulsivity aspect of it.

when kanye said his bipolar is a super power, he meant his mania feels like one. mania for many people with bipolar is something that makes them productive, albeit it’s really self destructive. it’s extremely euphoriac for someone with bipolar and is the main reason many get off their meds because for many with it, it feels like the only time we truly feel like we’re productive or feel happiness and confidence with in our selve, even though its in a very unhealthy and destructive manner. it’s like we become addicted to the mania because of the depression makes us feel so unproductive and useless and mania is the opposite.

so i feel like the “hurt her brand” reasonining, is a pretty loaded reason and doesn’t put into context of what that means for someone who is bipolar and suffers from mania.

I feel you. Unless this is another case of the opportunist sibling, I'm going with what the family member said since we have examples of celebs and non-celebs having a warped list of priorities and the selfish tone of her suicide letter

If you found out you had a terminal disease would you off yourself or just wait for it to come? As I sat and thought about what would lead a person to this, and I also began to ask was Cleo's death in Set It Off technically a suicide? It can always be related to childhood or how people were raised most of the time. But occasionally mental imbalance! But most of the time its parents not equipping the individual with proper defence mechanisms to handle life.

All money does is exacerbates the problem! Don't blame the money! But will say this money does make it a lot easier to find the best help. Money makes it easier to search for the root of the problems related to the lack of defensive coping mechanism way more than a poor person could.

RIP. I heard her note was addressed to her daughter, that's real sad.

Said it even yesterday, happiness is unconditional, comes from within and is a choice/lifestyle. You'll never find it in how much money you have and other interests, etc.

You can choose to be happy right now if you really wanted to. This is not saying being sad is bad however. As a human being you're entitled to feel how you want.



That said, it was studied that depressed folks are the most realistic people.

But optimistic people are the most successful.
