Its not the biggest civil rights issue of our time but

Nigerians/Africans shouldn't really be saying the n word.

It's out of order as much as a white person saying it or a white Asian saying it.

Not originally part of their culture in those cases. Especially with Nigerian long term involvement in trans altlantic slave trade

Unless I’m just not listening why don’t Africans complain more about him basically being a minstrel of them? They have a decently sized diaspora over here to make some noise if they wanted. Especially in the social media era.

The way they got into Ari Lennox for her Ghana visit saying it was beautiful and some even had an issue with how they were portrayed in coming to America 2, I’m surprised they let him go on for so long. Plus he isn’t even funny
How is he a minstrel of Africans?

And let’s be real. We knew church folks are freaky af especially back then. Go look up Aretha Franklin daddy who was minister of a group in Detroit and the degenerate shyt they were into. King was a man not a God. Yes he is one the greatest human beings to ever live and his work will never be questioned. But their is plenty evidence that points to his flaws :manny:
Can you provide any? No!

Even if he did, Black ppl play too much and put our shyt on social media for display

Nikka did a lot for his ppl, wasn't chasing the bag, but they want to reduce him to a joke about sex on his day

This.....jokers have no respect. How a man sacrifices his life and the lives of his wife and children. So they / we can live where we want, go to school where we want, date who we want and etc. Yet these folks turn around and disrespect this same man and his legacy.

These jokers on the internet are immoral, lack of character having cowards and fools.

But the white man is pushing and guiding the narrative to take this rushed vaccine and how dangerous Covid it is.

So, once again, is the White Man good and trusting about your health and everything else he's a devil that wants the worse for black people? Or you just pick and choose whatever the mainstream media tells you?

:jbhmm:
South Africa is also pushing the vaccine
Does that mean you don’t trust black men ?

Its well known he was fukking a white folk singer and it’s rumored the bytch who stabbed him in Harlem was a side piece. FBI was following him for years
The FBI actually sent MLK Jr. a letter before he was killed trying to convince him to kill himself, and stating that they would release rumors about his sexual impropriety.
Rumors that have marinated for decades - that we can prove the FBI said they would start, the same FBI that was plotting to have him killed, isn't strong evidence breh.
I hope you didn't take the vaccine or bought the pandemic hype if this is your mindset. :unimpressed:
shyt-level posting.
Im not denying any of this. But you do know they had wiretap all his offices and hotel rooms right? All this has came out and congressional hearings since the 70s. I’m not sure when they will officially be able to unseal everything but the truth will come out someday

Edit: Apparently the lift ends in 2027
None of the information has conclusively come from these "wiretaps," nor is there any reason to trust the FBI's recordkeeping regarding MLK.

I've never heard an African person talk about Michael Blackson positively but I'm sure there are many criticisms of him - its not my community so I have no idea.
Unfortunately Ralph Abernathy blabbed about a lot of that. Put his homie on front street in his book. He didn’t name names but confirmed the fact Dr. King had a lot of affairs… I’d assume some white women were definitely in the mix.

:yeshrug:

Is this your King!!!?

Yea… still
He put it in an autobiography while also trying to claim they were closer than they were - even adding in accounts that directly contradict things that MLK said about their relationship - Abernathy was a strong civil rights leader and also a clout-chaser :francis:
Yea… I’m just saying it’s out there. And not by his bitter enemy but his closest confidant
Abernathy wasn't his closest confidant.

You already know what it is. They’ll check AA’s for what they perceive as African Appropriation, and then appropriate AA culture, and then let an African comedian slide for exaggerated caricatures of African culture.

I was listening Dr Jared Ball on youtube and he had a good point, even if MLK had a side piece his impact on the USA and the reason he was killed was not over a side piece but because he fought for Civil Rights for Black Americans and threatens the status quo
