This is also why Kevin is incredibly successful, his a 'safe' negro, and can be guaranteed on to not rock the boat. I don't think I've ever actually heard Kevin seriously discuss politics. That right there is a red light.

But the hate he gets from other comedians is hilarious classic crab in a barrel behaviour from other blacks. I personally don't find him funny at all. But it's amazing how he grabbed his opportunity and has turned it into a very successful career.

This is what I don't get. What is so bad about being gay? If someone is gay, who cares. Let them be them. fukkers always busy shytting on people for no reason.

Maybe if folks would stop shaming and hating folks over bullshyt that isn't even harming anybody because being gay ain't killing anybody then maybe we wouldn't have so many damn closet cases or folks doing crazy shyt. The thing is, Hollywood is probably majority sexually obscure and at best, sexually flexible. But because the consumers of their movies are majority social conservative and heterosexual, outwardly gay actors aren't going to equate to ticket sales in some markets. Then you have the Black male actors who consider themselves straight, yet have probably done some sexual things with men or executives in order to get on. That casting isn't just soaked with female juices.

At the same time, I feel like someone's sexual pref. is their business, but sometimes, you come across someone who knows where the bodies are buried and dare you to piss them off because they a shovel in their hand.

You can't get main stream success without selling your soul, I wish people understood that, some people refuse to go to that level, and others dont mind the moment you renege on the deal They snatching it all back.

Kevin is a puppet but he has some control over his self and his brand and he's worked hard to cement his spot in the puppet show. I respect the hard work, its not easy especially as a black man to keep respect for yourself, make people laugh and demand respect.

Demanding respect while making people laugh is a hard thing to do. So props to Kev, he's lost some of his luster ( He was never really that funny to me) but he's a brand now not just a "black comic" Katt is 100 times funnier than Kev, but in this day in age of the hyper sensitive media where anything you say is taken literal and social media can make or break you comic's like Katt are to volatile. Chris rock gets off with it but he's really smart with his word play and brutally honest most of the time and even then its only so much of him "people" want to hear.
