It wasnt clear at all, stop it...

The loss is on him as well for underperforming when needed; 3-10 2nd Half of G6, 1-11 in 2nd Half of G7. When they absolutely needed a closer or someone to save the season and stop the Nuggets runs, Kawhi completely vanished....

There's enough blame to go around but he right at the top of the fukking list...

I hope you're not insinuating that the 14 FMVP should have went to LeBron :mjlol:

Don't care what you say this loss wasn't all on Kawhi. PG should have stepped up when Kawhi was struggling. Every superstar is not have a great game for every playoff series they are in. That's why Kawhi made sure that PG was going with him to LA. Out of the 7 games Kawhi played against the Nuggets, he had 2 bad games. If it was 4 or 5 that Kawh played poorly than yes all the blame would go to him but that's not the case here

Clippers need a defensive C, playmaker, and a new coach

Seeing Jimmy play in the playoffs and seeing PG play straight up clears it for me.

Jimmy is a better player than George even if he’s not as fancy a scorer. IQ, heart, and leadership matter way more than your toolkit. PG simply doesn’t have that “it” where his team feels like they can rely on him.

@CHICAGO , you been right about PG all along.

I agree. His game is predicated on his shooting and he has explosive shooting potential. I like his shot, I see him using a midrange, and he can get hot but he just doesn’t strike fear in anyone’s heart.

Butler’s footwork, strength, and toughness is what separates him. Butler is also on an entirely different tier as a playmaker.

Actually, I definitely see what you mean. I think I got caught up in his shooting and he’s a good shooter when the lights aren’t bright but if his shots not falling, he can’t initiate offense any other way.

He’s not an unconscious shooter like Steph or Klay either where you have to stay glued to him even if he’s been cold for a half. He’s not “elite” at anything. He’s just kinda above average at everything.

Lebron has his playmaking and IQ, Curry and Klay has his shooting, Rose and Wade had slashing and finishing, etc.

HES JUST HAS "THE LOOK"
AND BEEN LIVING OFF THE
ECF APPEARANCES ON THOSE SOLID
PACER TEAMS IN THE WEAK EAST.

BUT WHEN YOU BREAK HIS GAME DOWN
YOU REALIZE HOW HE WAS ABLE
TO GET OUTPLAYED BY JOE INGLES
IN A SERIES.

Jimmy Buckets would never get outplayed by Ingles in a series :russ:

I think the biggest difference between PG and Butler is simple. PG wants to win but Butler hates to lose. They sound similar but athletes know that the people who hate losing tend to turn up when shyt gets tight.

Jimmy is also showing way more heart this year than Kawhi. He too had a serious injury few years back, but you don't see him sitting out many games like Kawhi did. And Kawhi still got tired in the middle of playoffs, with no travelling

First of all, he had more than "two bad games" this series. He went 3-10 in the 2nd Half of G6, his second half buckets were a dunk in the closing moments, a layup when the lead was already lost and a 3 earlier when they were in the process of choking the lead....

You cant spin G6 as a good game when you also account for him getting whipped on defense, turning the ball over, etc....

Second of all, no loss is ever on just one player. I know yall like to do that with LeBron, but it was never true with him and it isnt true with Kawhi. However, he gotta carry the lion's share, 4-21 shooting in the second halves of the last two ganes of a playoff series is embarrassing. That isn't an inexcusable performance in must-win scenarios when you blew leads of 19, 16, and 13 in the final 3 ganes with a 3-1 lead and you're the best player on the team and supposedly one of the greatest players ever if you listen to nikkas on here...

Re: '14 Finals, he wasnt the Spurs best player that regular season or that postseason and the FMVP coulda gone to Duncan, Green, or Parker, stop it. You said Kawhi was the best player on that Spurs team, thats a lie and everyone knows it...

Make sure you have this same apologetic energy, "every superstar is not gonna have a great game in every game of every series", keep that same energy next time you wanna hop on Bron, Steph, Harden, Giannis, or any other star...

Jimmy is also showing way more heart this year than Kawhi. He too had a serious injury few years back, but you don't see him sitting out many games like Kawhi did. And Kawhi still got tired in the middle of playoffs, with no travelling

Its gonna be interesting to revisit the Butler vs Kawhi comparison at the end of the playoffs, do you remember circa 2015 when Kawhi, Butler, PG was a three-way debate on who was better and who had the brighter future?

Finna be 2015 again. I rememver having those debates in real life. Butler has been a really good player and a little underrated at times, but he was never the player he is now, this is a coming out party...
