Nah Kawhi is damaged goods and wall is a pretty good defender and can run the point as a bonus
How is running point a bonus when he's a point guard? :gucci:
Curry, Westbrook, Dame, Kyrie and than it's Wall. Kawhi is a legit top 3-4 player in this league. Unless you wanna to throw beal into the deal along with wall spurs would never make this trade. They don't even need wall dominating the ball every position. Plus this nikka is two years away from falling off with all these knee surgeries he's been having.
Is/was this not top 15?

There's a big difference between top 5 and top 15 my friend. John Wall cannot create his own shot like kawhi can in the halfcourt. Wall has peaked and is injury prone. With the Spurs scouting department and development I would rather trade him for a top pick in this draft if he absolutely doesn't wanna be there anymore. Drafting a guy like Porter, Jackson Jr, Ayton or Bagley and another mid level pick 14-20 would be more beneficial to the spurs than picking up wall.

I know that already, and the Spurs wouldn't be doing themselves any good making this trade but the way you responded to the other poster made it seem as if being 5th in the top 5 at his position means he can't/couldn't be top 15 overall.

Kawhi is the better player, but this trade wouldn’t make sense for the wizards considering the amount of money and resources they’ve spent on Otto Porter.

And neither Porter or Kawhi are playing the four effectively.

Theoretically kawhi and porter man the wings and Beal plays the one.

Beal
Kawhi
Porter

Take it further and id sign and trade porter for George to a team willing to help.

Beal
Kawhi
George

But none of this would happen so..

John Wall on the Spurs is a scary sight

That jumper would magically transform into CP3 level good.... and then Pop would have John playing lock down defense :wow:

I think it's too late in his career for Chip to work his magic on him.

But a motivated Wall with a J is indeed a scary sight. Injuries aside, I'm disappointed in John this season. Last year he showed he could really join that elite tier of PGs :wow:
