I hate how people always say this about trades in retrospect. Yeah Shai is a baller now and he may even end up winning a title, I like Shai’s game. However, NBA teams are making that trade 9/10 if their star/superstar player wants to play with another star level player. These guys don’t have time to waste, it’s exactly why LeBron shipped all them cats out for AD. Why? Because he wanted to compete immediately, not next year, not in 5 years. Immediately.
Now it just hasn’t really worked out how they planned, but that’s a whole other issue.
