he did deserve it his impact is more bigger than green only knock against him was less games he played and even with that

u saw the terror he caused on opponents :blessed:
Green defended bigs, wings and PGs and was the defensive leader of the #1 defense in the league. He deserved it. Not taking anything away from what Kawhi accomplished this season, but it's befuddling that some voters didn't even have Green in their top three. He should have been in EVERYBODY's top three.

Draymond or Leonard would have been great choices, Draymond a little bit moreso because he appears to guard more positions (and he's doing a damn good job on Brow), but you really couldn't go wrong with either.

That last Spurs/Warriors game is probably what put Kawhi over Green. Kawhi was all over the place defensively in that one.
