Defensive isolation league leaders:

Draymond #1 in PPP, #1 in FG%, #1 in scoring frequency and top 5 in turnover frequency

Defensive spot up league leaders:

Draymond top 5 in PPP, top 5 in FG% and top 5 in scoring frequency

Defensive off screen league leaders (minimum of 40 possessions guarded):

#1 in FG% - he held offensive players to 15% FG on these situations.

He's also one of the top rated big men in defensive hand off situations (typically dominated by guards/wings).

To be ranked as high as Draymond did in all these defensive situations is quite literally unheard of.

Honestly Kawhi and Draymond should have co-DPOY the last two years. Nobody should really object to Kawhi winning it this year though. He has locked up almost every great wing player this year.

DeRozan torched the Spurs back in December in the game where Kawhi played sick, and Lebron had two good games against them. Other than that, yeah, every great 2/3 in the league had a bad-to-forgettable game when they played Kawhi this year.

Klay is a pretty underrated defender...

Everytime a guard go off he is just the de facto guy who is expected to guard him...

It's also rarely that the guard that goes off is the guy that Klay originally starts guarding as well...

Dude thought he was going to have an easy night guarding Roberson when they played OKC...

Wasn't 5 minutes into every one of those games that he ended up on 5678...
