If Tony Parker saying that about Kawhi really hurt his feelings like that then Kawhi is a p*ssy.

Pop is ice cold in interviews because Kawhi had his own medical team and he actually didn't know when Kawhi was coming back cause Kawhi team never told the spurs when he was coming back. Pop already had 4 rings before Kawhi Leonard ever put on a spurs jersey. Pop is also old as shyt AND a military man, people who fit that profile don't do a bunch of back bending and ass kissing and coddling.

Information gets leaked about players all the time every time everywhere. Why would it be any different from the spurs ?

Man if you want to take Kawhi "side" in what happened you can, you don't need to make up a bunch of bullshyt stories and narratives to try and make it seem like he was somehow wronged by the spurs:mjlol:. It's okay to say you just flat out don't like the spurs or you flat out want to side with Kawhi, I do it all the time:mjlol:. I'm rooting for the clippers to beat the jazz because...well...fukk Utah:mjlol:. I actually like their coach, I like how their team is constructed, I like the moves their front office has made. But...uh...its Utah, so fukk them mormons :mjlol:. If Utah wins a championship I will consider it a TRAVESTY :mjlol:. If Utah wins a championship and a genie gives me 3 wishes one of my wishes will be to give the nba championship to someone else, fukking Utah doesn't deserve it :mjlol:
lol nah, I don’t really care for Kawhi. I respect him. I acknowledge his episodic greatness. But I’ve never rooted for him

Like I was saying, the Kawhi-Spurs divorce just played out in a very bizarre fashion, imo.

Harden forcing his way out of Houston or PG out of Indiana seemed more “normal” than the whole Kawhi-SA situation

Both sides are to blame. I’m not saying Kawhi was a saint and the Spurs are the devil. I just think the Spurs really dropped the ball by allowing/facilitating the souring of said relationships with a top player in the league, not getting enough value in return, and only further making small market SA more unappealing to other stars.

Jazz paid Gobert all that money knowing they can’t get anybody else to come and play with Donovan

Spurs were like “yeah, we good” at Kawhi Leonard. And I’m not so sure there’s a star lining up to come there…

See my post just above regarding all the peculiarity regarding the situation

I get the injury concerns at the time, but the way it was all handled and played out was just flat out bizarre. Never seen anything like it

For a super quiet guy, we heard way too much intimate detailing of his camp and his own family

Spurs seemingly alienated dude from even wanting to be there
Kawhi and his uncle alienated themselves.
The Spurs gave Kawhi unprecedented control over his own rehab and even they weren’t allowed to oversee the process or even know where Kawhi was.

There was a rift in the relationship. And Kawhi’s team started it.

Not sure what show they said it on but the players are gonna need to rest. January MLK day should be opening night.

They may have to eventually take that L and really shorten a season (like 50 games) to reset the schedule and get back on track. I think starting MLK this year would have made sense since Covid fukked everything up anyway. We had just got the finals in October so an extra month off would have been fine for fans and given the players more recovery time.
