I think Kawhi's uncle has wanted him in LA for however long. When IT's hip injury/comeback/off-season trade unfolded, KL's uncle saw the window to "take the power" and sit him out and overplay the quiet card. Everything else as far as comments from Pop or Spurs teammates is salt in the wound and a result of Kawhi being mute.

It's becoming clear to me now that they're trying to get LeBron, Kawhi, and PG13 to LA. And for what its worth I hope it happens.

I just wonder if either Kawhi or PG have the personality to stand toe-to-toe with LeBron, because LeBron needs another legit alpha type to lean on, not just skilled stars.

Man, this would be so dope. Philly can chase a finals appearance and try their best to re sign him after next season and Pop gets a player with superstar potential that could potentially lead that roster in scoring and would most likely make the playoffs.


What's a potentially better move . If Markelle ends up being as good as he has shown he could be then u get a star level player who has an exciting/entertaining skill set. No other move they make would help them sell tickets in the future, Markelle is one of those "fun to watch" type nikkas, Wade like with the handle, finishes, blocks, ect.

No team talking with the Spurs about Leonard has found them to be in a rush to make a deal.
