He can't sit out the season if he isn't injured regardless of what SAS goes on TV & says

It's a pissing contest now, so if he tries to do that again the Spurs will go to the NBA & they'll get a league doctor to look at him. Unless they find something actually physically wrong with him they'll clear him. The Spurs could take it further & end up holding his rights beyond next season. You can't just decide you're going to sit out, & he especially can't after how this has played out.

It only serves to destroy his standing as a player and person. It probably also brings charges of breach of contract.
