Podcasts are killing sports radio too. Get ready for the inevitable podcast subscription services.:francis:

It's already happening though. There's a podcast service dedicated to wrestling where you got to pay a certain amount a month to get a good amount of wrestling podcasts. Good on those that are out in there streets of the work and shoots, but for dudes such as myself who just watch wrestling for puro and fukkery...meh:ld:

Sean seems like a smart guy and I enjoy most of the KC shoots...but I can't for the life of me understand why he doesn't comprehend why wrestlers would rather spend 30-40 minutes of their time promoting their product and shootin the shyt with people in the business than spend 3 hours exposing their whole life and career and field questions from KC's weird ass fukkin regulars. Some of these guys want to tell sell their own story.

I'm sure he's intelligent enough to realize the multitude of reasons why fans would prefer podcasts to his shoot interviews. He's been sayin this shyt about podcasts since they really started picking up steam. The world is changing...technology is changing...the formats we consume things are changing...Kayfabe Commentaries is not. Those who evolve stay relevant...if you can't adapt you become obsolete. Kayfabe Commentaries is Hollywood Video right now.

The kc shoots are cool but overpriced. I'm not paying $20 to watch something once. If they were $10 I'd maybe pay, $5 definitely. At $20 I'm waiting for that torrent lank. The whole history of WWF, WCW and ECW is available for $10. Njpw same. Foh

Bruh I swear on went on their site not even a month ago to see if the price of their "streaming" went down but it's still the same shyt...$20 FOR EACH STREAM, shyt isn't even discounted. You buy it and download, instead of just charging a monthly fee of $10 or shyt even $20 to stream all of their content they still want to stay in the dark ages, drop a monthly price point and get with the tines. For all the content they have I'd pay 10-15 a month...shyt they'd probably get 20 from me at least once

That's MLW and I was subscribed for a while but canceled it because 90% of the premium content is geared towards todays watchers, it's a great damn value if you're a fan of todays wrestling and if you've never checked for it at 1.99...yes 1.99 a month. They have a ton of old shoots on there but have new shyt posted daily also.

Nobody really pays for music anymore (Spotify, streaming services)
Nobody really goes to movies anymore (Netflix)
Nobody really pays for cable anymore (Netflix, Hulu, HBOGo)
Nobody really buys apps anymore (Developers drop all their shyt for free and make money off ads and in-app purchases)
And in wrestling, nobody's buying PPVs anymore (WWE Network)

We're living in an era where content is overflowing and consumer choice is high, so nobody is really flexing their pockets for entertainment. Videogames being the only industry where that's an exception. You can't really try to change consumer behavior, only adapt to it or leave the business if you're not turning profit

People being mad at innovation is :mjlol:

The world is moving... you’re stuck :camby:

Figure it out or lose your business...it’s that simple... no one owes you shyt

You wanna do shoot interviews and make money, figure out how.

Create an engaging idea and sell it to the WWE Network or Netflix

Grab a few guys and do a “live shoot” tour in different cities

Create engaging content on YouTube to monetize

Get with an animator and do stories with funny ass cartoons to go with it (sort of how WWE has a show like this OR it was done with jokes years ago on Comedy Central)

Sell shoot documentaries to ESPN

Etc etc

It’s not hard, people just don’t want to think and work.

I knew hed eventually say this.

KC are the absolute best shoots. Their indepth talks on eras is similar to how all these podcasts are now reviewing shows or talkimg about someones career. I knew this would be a problem for them eventually.

Wrestlers hustling backwards.

I love The Guest Booker series and he puts out some of the best content but Nobody paying $20 for it in 2017. Point blank the podcast and the network aren't going anywhere, so he needs to drop his prices or move into the podcast game.

He sounds like he might be retarded, and trying shame wrestlers seems even dumber.

yeawhile he has the aboslute best shoots, his prices are crazy. i shouldnt have to be pay 15 bucks to view a shoot ONCE ondemand... thats highway robbery. if his shoots were a little cheaper on his ondemand service i think hed get way more buys.

sean to me is the BEST wrestling interviewer around and i hope KC stay in business because they are an absolute pleasure. he was basically bruce prichards podcast before bruce... just overall greatr interviews but yea i seen this coming with all the podcasts anmd every guy doing interviews for free.

Well he's charging $20 a month for his network like service too. I wanted to support but I cant justify that when Netflix, WWE, and even Highspots all charge $10 :yeshrug:
