i like the way Nick Wright put it where he basically said, the reason why people identify more with russ is because KD basically looks like bully now. he joined up with the big bad kids (73 win team) and now wants to act like a tough guy. you join a contender, didn;t create a new contender, and want to shyt talk the team he left. its not authentic. KD has become extremely unlikable and easy to root against which is a 180 from when he was on OKC.

Evidence, every trash talking moment since he left was started by HIM, not Russ. It's plain to see. So he wants that attention to go away? Then stop doing things that you do. He does this with no other player...but Russ. Passive aggressive, then not acknowledging how he induces these questions about Russ being thrown at him.

Because it's personal with Russ. He behaves like that because he left OKC for GS, and his way of dealing with his guilt is to behave like this with Russ. The way he trash talks Russ you'd think it was Russ who did something to him, but the reality is he left Russ in crazy fashion, has nothing to do with going to GS, it's just the way he didn't communicate with his teammate Russ. KD is playing a psychological game with EVERYONE and he wants the story HE created surrounding him and Russ to stop...THAT is a psychological game in itself.

Yeah - he's gotten into it with Gobert (a couple times), Wade, Grant, Waiters (when they were teammates), Embiid, Boogie, LeBron, Pat Bev, Blake, Kanter etc. He and Russ got history, it's no surprise they jawin' at each other whenever they match up.
