word? :beli:

1986-87: 37.1ppg (48%, 13 on 28 shots)

Not talking about Jordan's career. Just pinpointing that one particular season.

"I'd rather a dude hitting 36 on 20 shots vs. 36 on 28 shots"

nikkas talk so stupid on here, they inadvertently shyt on the greatest player who walked the court.

yea, but ain't Durant playing with :youngsabo: Who wants to be and plays like he is the best player on the court, and is a top 15 player in the game. As great as Shaq was, who was the best player on the Laker squad, the Lakers didn't become a championship team until Kobe finally started hitting his strides and became an elite player was when the Lakers finally got over the hump and won those 3 rings. Yea Durant is the best player on the team, but lets not pretend like he is carrying the team and is solely responsible for his squad being great, when he isn't. The dude was set up for success, but you can't blame him because he is a hella dope player. But, anyways, let's not get ahead of ourselves, shyt the Thunder might just drop 4 games in a row against the Heat, which probably ain't gonna happen, but but who knows yo.

U might have an agurement if Kobe won a finals MVP during but he didn't
No way Westbrook will ever win a finals MVP with durant playing
And Durant finishes every game

You really are one of those John Hollinger type of basketball fans that I hate. The type that read boxscores and determine everything from there. Meanwhile, you have saysumthingfunnymike a clear Kobe hater and Celtics fans, and more Kobe haters in here defending this shyt. To top it all off you have a Loose a major dikkrider in here as well. Kevin Durant at no point in here career has been a superior scorer to Kobe at any age.

Kobe Bryant may have the greatest repertoire in the history of basketball. Kevin Durant scores primarily off of his jumper and because he can shoot over everybody. He improved his driving this year. For all that crying about Kobe's "inefficiency" it rarely means anything when he's playing. This shyt is blasphemous almost.

Stop replying to Malcolm's garbage.

i havent said kobe was inefficient once, ever. being a less efficient scorer when compared to kevin durant =/= being inefficient. i dont care how many ways durant can score, when the main way he scores is ELITE, and basically unstoppable. do we give a fukk that mariano rivera only uses one pitch? fukk no, because its an elite pitch. i still havent gotten an explanation how a guy who scores less on more shots, and is a "better scorer." fukk a repertoire. you wanna discuss who is the more well rounded offensive threat? kobe, of course. better scorer? durant, slightly. unlike these kobe stans, my opinions do not sway when discussing different players. these kobe lovers argue one thing in one argument, then flip it when it doesnt fit their agenda in the other discussions. if you tell me to determine who the better scorer was, and one guy scores more on less shots, he is always the better scorer in my opinion. if you tell me "well the guy who takes more shots, he also can score in 8 different ways the guy who scores more can only score 1 way" then that tilts it even more to the guy who can only score one way, and still scores more, even though the defense knows what the fukk hes gonna do.

Yeah, the guy is creating an argument that isn't there.

How am I a Kobe hater? I hate the Lakers sure.. but in no way am I a Kobe hater. He's one of the best ever. However, what did I write that was inaccurate? I want to know how scoring more on less shots is worse than scoring less/same while taking more shots... somebody please explain that.

Kobe would be a more efficient scorer if he was Kevin Durant's size. It doesn't really matter though because size can't be extracted from the argument. It's an advantage he has over Kobe.

It's not really about variety. Look at Mariano Rivera and his cutter, if you have one thing you can do that is effective, you don't need to have 50 different methods. Even if Durant just has a jumper and Kobe had 10-15 ways he could score each game, Durant would still be more efficient.
