Kobe was pretty damn good at 22-23 years old. In '01 he put up 29/6/5 in the regular season and 29/7/6 in the playoffs. KD might get the nod because he's the #1 option though.

300 murders a year
i understood the premises of what skip was saying.

but this is placing a ton of wagons before the horses right here

players like mj, kobe, magic, hakeem, duncan, shaq, is the fact they are multi talented and multi skilled and if one thing isnt working then they have a few other things they can go to to effect the game. i would even say lebron and wade are like that as well

durant can score, but if he not dropping shots at a high clip how can he even be effective? he has no reliable post game, he is not a dominant rebounder or defender, he dont block shots at a major clip. it just asking a lot to put him in that boat at this young of a stage. those saying kobe and mike wasnt this at that age are only talking about them not being the leader of a team in the finals. mj wasnt in the finals but he was clearly the best player in the league on both ends of the floor.

and all this talk will look stupid if okc loses the 2nd game and durant shoots horribly

durant is a great player and he got busy last night, but can they close the deal first before people start placing him in history. that talk can back fire in everybody face.

last week lebron supposedly just had the "greatest performance ever in a playoff game only rivaled by wilt chamberlain" now its back to reality ulp there goes gravity for lebron

premature celebrations seems to be the theme this playoffs.

Nah Kobe was and still is a better rebounder at his position

And shooting is a wash IMO
No, Durant is a better shooter. If you are talking mid range, then yeah Kobe might have an argument.

Kobe at 24 might have an argument as a better overall shooter. That was his best shooting year.
