Its not at all. Kobe was a much better player. The only perimeter player that you can argue that has been better than Kobe in the past 10 years is Lebron.
You can make a case for McGrady and Wade in certain years, but thats it.
What separates kobe and durant at the ages listed is not only is durant scoring at a higher percentage than kobe he also is averaging damn near the same amount of ppg he was averaging. durant can score off isos,screens, picks and rolls, spot up shooting shyt ever possible way unlike kobe could. its not even debatable. kobe let nikkas like prince get in his head

KD is a better shooter, and more effective scorer. Kobe is a volume scorer. KD doesnt take bad shots like Kobe. When its all said and done KD will be the more acclaimed player. He like Larry Bird with athleticism.
