You can text from email my dude. I been doing that since 05. You can iMessage phone number from email. My daughter does it to me when she is on her iPad. You telling me iMessage is not text if you use email to phone or email to email. It’s all electronic messages.

Not the same thing. texting somebody means you have their phone number and they accept calls and text messages from you which indicates a closer relationship of some sort.

I'm guessing celebrity is don't want just anybody having their personal number. Social media and phone number are two completely different things. Is just like when women are on Tinder and they put their Snapchat or Instagram on their profile for everybody to see. They would not put their phone number on there, tho
