u guys were mad when he signed with golden state, and now u mad that he left??:mjlol:

I mean we dont know who was on the record with what unless we do some sleuthing but point taken. I respect him leaving and the results dont really impact the criticism of his rationale unless he thought he would win more championships and ultimately doesnt win any more. If he just didnt want to be there then it doesnt really matter how it plays out

Yes, because why would a multi-millionaire basketball superstar listen to a bunch of nobodies [in comparison]:gucci:?

It's literally his career and his life, so why would he worry about wtf they think?

It's unlikely that the general public was the deciding factor for him imo :hubie:respectfully

It wasn't twitter, it was hid ego

He knows he stacked the deck.

Do you play madden on rookie and win rings? If so, you'll get bored and want to challenge yourself.

He's a competitor.
It was Twitter.

He knew what it looked like when he signed there. Then Twitter reacted, and Myers and Co threw ridiculous shade, and he got in his feelings.

No handles
No playmaking
No Steph to take away double teams

:mjlol:

This nikka has never even played for a bad team except for his rookie year. He’s always had at least 1 all-star teammate, played on multiple super teams. Never carried a team in his life.

Imagine this nikka being drafted by Cleveland. :picard:

the ether
Game two playoff hot takes are always something:yeshrug:

I was literally coming in to post this.

KD deserves all the clowning he gets for a shytty first two games against a team with a major starter missing, but we've seen plenty of teams turn it around from down 2-0 and the way the rest of the league is trending right now this could be the hardest series the Nets have.

Never forget

"Durant: "I was telling one of my friends, Rich (Kleiman, his agent), who's here, we were watching Game 7. Well, as it started to unfold, it was, 'No question, no way could you go to this team.' And I was just like a kid, like, in a candy shop. I'd get wide open 3s, I could just run up and down the court, get wide open layups. I was basically begging him. I was like, yo, this would be nice."

I dont think thats the read on this. I would rather state that its clear to even the people that denied it at the time, that the REASON he joined GS was to get rings because he knew without stacking a team like that he might not (might...) have what it took to chip. Especially as a leader. So seeing him go to GS, get some easy titles/achievements, then poke his chest out and run to BK to prove he can do it himself is hilarious. Because its not looking good.

His best odds for winning were and still remains stacking on a team with an ungodly amount of unbalanced power in the league.

I don't ever want to see this nikkas name mentioned along the likes of Kobe/Bron or even Steph if BK gets bounced here. fukk all that. KD is a great BBall player but nikkas really need to call a spade a spade.
