He didn't owe them the future of his career. If they were really his "brothers" then they wouldn't have let him play even if he wanted to. How I’m being fake? It’s my opinion. I feel that he went out there simply because he wanted to be there for his teammates and to play the game on which he loves. He took a risk in which he was able to live with it. Of course the easy and smart thing would’ve been to just wait it out. He decided that he wanted to play, regardless of the consequences. I respect that as a fan. Only a few would put their career on the line like he did, which is why he’s getting the ultimate form of respect.
I understand that you may not share my opinion of this, which is okay, but no need to call me fake because of it. Let’s have a respectful discussion about this.
