Nah I do agree they were fake, but you still bringing his move up means you’re still the one upset by it.

He’ll come back and still be regarded as one of the best to ever grace the court, and you’ll still be upset on a message board hiding behind laughter.

i'm able to see things objectively for what they are. you shouldn't be so invested and disappointed when people don't agree with you. makes you seem blinded by fanboism.

at least we agree and are rooting for kd to come back and be as great a ball player as he was before the injury. i said the same thing in that other thread.

Nah I’m merely just telling you to give it a rest because it’s been 3 years and you still on the same shyt. You agreeing or disagreeing with me means nothing.

They have treated Steph and Klay that way

The only difference is that they didn't get hurt when they came back out there. Durant did.
There’s been multiple reports from reputable sources about Warriors players being frustrated with KD. I don’t think they would have disrespected Steph or Klay like that.

obviously you care enough to quote me and talk about "give it a rest :to:". it is what is. history isn't erased just because you're a superfan.

How I’m being fake? It’s my opinion. I feel that he went out there simply because he wanted to be there for his teammates and to play the game on which he loves. He took a risk in which he was able to live with it. Of course the easy and smart thing would’ve been to just wait it out. He decided that he wanted to play, regardless of the consequences. I respect that as a fan. Only a few would put their career on the line like he did, which is why he’s getting the ultimate form of respect.

I understand that you may not share my opinion of this, which is okay, but no need to call me fake because of it. Let’s have a respectful discussion about this.
I don't give unearned respect to people I don't know on the net. We can have a discussion but you've got to check your feelings at the door. If I think that you're fake then that's what I'm going to say.

I say you're fake because I don't feel as if you really care about KD. You wanted to see him play and now that playing resulted in a major injury, you throw out these fake props and respect. Like I said, if you truly cared and respected KD then you wouldn't have wanted to seek him out there because it wasn't worth the risk. It was a careless decision that wasn't smart for him or the organization goon forward assuming he re-signs. All that "he just wanted to be out there for his teammates" talk is bullshyt. He was the one injured, his teammates and organization should've been there for him. He agreed to play under pressure. The organization, his teammates, and the fan base should've respected him enough to let him chill and heal fully. They cared more about this potential ring tho.

At the end of the day, he did what he thought was best for himself. Of course I don’t want to see anyone get purposely hurt. I have no control over that. I’m just sharing my thoughts on what he did and why he did it. It looks like he’s able to live with this so things will be fine for him. I hope that he does get back to that elite level.

That's clearly not the case. You had it right the first time. He went out there to help his teammates and organization instead of doing what was best for himself. He knew that he wasn't 100% but he wanted to show that he was down "ride or die" with the squad.

Look my man, I don't have a personal problem with you. My posts aren't even directly solely at you. I'm mainly talking in general. I don't feel as if anyone here really cares about KD as a person. I think that folk here are using him to push their own agendas. If you(in general) weren't against KD playing and advising against it, then your concern or props after the fact now that he's fukked his achilles up is fake. Everybody was basically encouraging this man to come back with no fukks given about the potential negative consequences.

Nah he definetly had something to gain. If he brings the warriors back 3-1 it would have been HUGE for his legacy. I mean it's the finals. I think most superstars would've tried to play in that situation
