If you put Bron and Nick in the gym with no one there, who hits more midrange or long range shots? you gotta compare apples to apples breh. Bron doesn't shoot many tough or contested jumpers cause he's so damn good at passing and driving. he's a better shooter percentage wise than alot of guys who would kill him in any shooting competition if they got his looks.

Most NBA players are damn impossible shooters in an empty gym so who cares? You put Korver in an empty gym with Kobe or Jordan, who hits more shots? Does that make Korver a better scorer than those two?

Lebron, in game situations, is better at putting the ball in the bucket than Nick from almost every position on the floor. He does this, despite shooting as many of more shot as, and creating off the dribble more. Lebron is better at shooting percentage wise because his shot selection and ability to drive fear into people with a single jab step gives him all the space he needs to score on people.

funny how you changed the convo from better shooter to better scorer. I don't think anyone in their right mind would say Kobe or Jordan are better SHOOTERS than Korver. our debate was about whether nick young is a better shooter than bron. we all know he's not a better scorer. bron's ability to barrell into the lane all but deads that topic.

Oh, as far as shooting, Lebron gets more points, from almost every spot on the floor, with drastically higher effiency, despite being assisted far less and taking more shots.

As far as your empty gym hypothetical, I dunno. They say Klay is a better shooter than Curry in practice but Curry is obviously a more skilled shooter in games and Dwight is apparently great at knocking FT down in practice. Who the Fukk cares?

Lebron's a better shooter in games.

I only used the empty gym hypo cause it the closest to similar circumstances. like i said earlier, i've watched bron play a ton. his jump shots are no where close to the degree of dificulty i see in nick. thus, you can't just look at their percentages and conclude bron is the better shooter. he just gets easier looks.

The vast majority of Lebron's shots are typically contested (I got stats to show you) takes smarter shots than Nick Young, but again, that doesn't make Lebron a worse shooter. He's just a lot less likely to take stupid shots. Nick Young might take more difficult shots but he also misses a lot more.

People seem to think that because Lebron doesn't take stupid shots, he's somehow a bad shooter. No, he's a smart shooter, but he's shown numerous times that he will knock down all kinds of absurd shyt if put into a situation where he has to.

You're a pathological liar.

:what:

all i did was relay their point to the cats asking what they meant.

Maybe in an alternative universe. But in this reality, Kobe was always better than T-Mac. This argument went extinct years ago. :yeshrug:

the argument became extinct when it became apparent that t-mac couldnt stay on the court.

prime-healthy t-mac >> or = kobe

i say >>>

T-Mac ain't fit to sniff Wade, Dirk, KG, or Wade's jock.

hes better than all of them.

only one you can argue from dude's list is grant hill, who you didnt even mention.

Yeah the Fukk right.

Wade's best year is better than T-Mac's by pretty nice margin.

30.2 (49%) / 7.5 AST (3.4 TOV) / 5 REB / 2.2 STL / 1.3 BLK

Vs.

32.1 (45%) / 5.5 AST (2.6 TOV) / 6.5 REB / 1.7 STL / .8 BLK

Who you taking?

Call Wade a gunner when he was more efficient scorer, and a better playmaker than Tracy while being a great defender, Brehs.

:mjlol:

But lemme guess, McGrady was better because his game was smoother or some BS, right?

whether youre efficient or not, it doesnt mean that youre not a gun.

i have no problem with someone putting wade over t-mac, altho i disagree. but this argument is moot at this point. i prefer not to argue with people who base all their stuff off of stats. they tend to lack a real understanding of the game.

i noticed thats the standoff point for certain players on here. like t-mac, iverson & others who i try to stay away from arguing about on this board.
